Daynese McCarn August 23, 1926 - May 14, 2022 |
Daynese Hedrick McCarn, 95, a resident of Lexington, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington. Daynese was born in Davidson County on August 23, 1926 to the late Robert Grady Hedrick, Sr. and Virgie Burkhart Hedrick. She retired from Dacotah Cotton Mills after 27 years of service. Daynese graduated from Jones Business School in High Point. She was a social butterfly who loved her family immensely. Daynese enjoyed traveling, especially going to the beach. She was a member of Memorial Evangelical & Reformed Church in Lexington where she sang in the choir and was a part of the Women’s Guild. Daynese was also a member of the VFW and the American Legion Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Roland McCarn, who passed September 11, 1991; a brother, Robert Hedrick, Jr.; sisters, Tula Bame Hedrick Hill and Janice Lorene Hedrick; great-grandson, Noah Garner; great-granddaughter, Lainey McCarn; a brother-in-law, Odis “Bunny” Hill; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Peacock Hedrick.

Myra Yvonne Brickhouse Fagan, 67, of Linwood passed away Tuesday July 10, 2022 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday May 18, 2022 at the Forest Hill Mausoleum with Rev. David Robinson officiating services.
The family will receive friends from 12: 30 pm to 1:30 pm Wednesday May 18, 2022 at Davidson Funeral Home
Mrs. Fagan was born February 9, 1955 in Terrell County North Carolina to Lawrence Rogers Brickhouse and Daisy Yvonne Craddock Whitehurst. Mrs. Fagan loved cats and spending time with friends at Bill’s Truck Stop.

Matthew Adam Daniel April 15, 1994 - May 07, 2022 |
Matthew Adam Daniel, 28, of Roseland Rd., Aberdeen, died Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence. Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022, at Jackson Springs Cemetery, with Rev. David Reynolds officiating.
Born in Moore County on April 15, 1994, he was the son of Stephen Scott and Deborah Glover Daniel. He had worked in landscaping. He was preceded in death by his father, and his daughter, Zoey Daniel.
Adam is survived by his mother, Debbie Glover Daniel of Seagrove; sister, Christina Marie Daniel of Seagrove; brother, Stephen Scott Daniel of Pinehurst.

PHILLIP LEWIS PITTMAN July 23, 1943 - May 09, 2022 |
Phillip Lewis Pittman, 78, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed unexpectedly Monday, May 9, 2022.
He was born July 23, 1943, in Mitchell County, North Carolina to the late Mack Roy Pittman and Helen Louise (Henson) Pittman.
Phillip was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. Phillip worked for many years with Thomasville Furniture before working for High Point Furniture.
In addition to his parents, Mack and Helen Pittman, Phillip was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Joyce Cody Pittman, who passed in 1990. He was also preceded by four brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chris Pittman, Kim Wilson, and Debbie Barrow; three grandchildren; sister, Shirley Daniels; and his brother, Melvin Pittman (wife Teresa).

Eddie Elwood Lanier, 75, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Novant Health - Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with his dear friend, Keith Jarvis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Bobby Linthicum August 04, 1936 - May 09, 2022 |
Bobby Willard Linthicum, 85, of Ebel Church Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Monday, May 09, 2022 at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 14, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Irby and Dustin Rosenbaum officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Linthicum was born August 4, 1936, in Randolph County to Clyde Linthicum and Effie Garren Linthicum. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed working on the farm and for many years was a dedicated employee of Burlington Industries for 30 years. In addition to his parents Bobby was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hulin Linthicum; daughter, Teresa L. Hedrick; brothers, William and James Lee Linthicum.

ames McBride age 89 of Riverwood Drive died Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Lexington Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Macedonia United Methodist Church officiated by Preacher Clyde Akers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 3:00 pm till 4:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. McBride was born in Guilford County on September 12, 1932, to Charles Elmer McBride and Minnie Macemore McBride. James enjoyed golf, working on golf carts and spending time with family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. James was also proud to have served in the U S Army Special Forces Division. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Shirley Kennedy McBride, brother Ernest McBride, two sisters: Betty Phillips and Mary Bell Hayworth.
