Michael Wayne Curry July 14, 1988 - October 17, 2022
Michael Wayne Curry, age 34, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his family on October 17, 2022.

“Curry” as most people knew him, was born on July 14, 1988, and lived in Denton, North Carolina. He had a passion for music that was undeniable. It was in his soul and part of his everyday life, whether it was jamming on his guitar, writing, composing, or simply appreciating another artist. He also enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, and experiencing life to the fullest. Curry was smart, sometimes too smart for his own good, and a problem solver. Facing most things with the “I can fix it” attitude. Always living by go big or go home, you could expect the extreme from Michael. The biggest bowl, craziest idea, loudest car, highest jump, hardest guitar riff, fastest answers. He was a fighter and strived for greatness.

Family was important to Michael Wayne, and he was loved dearly. He was the only son to his mother and stepfather Teresa and Philip Tysinger, and his father Kenneth Curry. He was proud of his two sons, Oriah and Brighton. The “biggest” little brother to his sisters Crystal and Michelle. A teacher to his adoptive brothers Bennsynn, Steven, and Bryson as well as adoptive sister Aydionna. The “favorite uncle Michael” to Dalya and Dax. He will be missed deeply by all, including his many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
