Georgia Elizabeth Myers December 01, 1930 - April 05, 2022
Georgia Myers age 91, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Brookstone Retirement Center.



A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at North Lexington Baptist Church with Pastor Gavin Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, one hour prior to service.



Georgia was born in Davidson County December 1, 1930, to William Howard Brown and Clara Haynes Brown. Georgia was a member of North Lexington Baptist Church for 80 years. She also operated a small day care service out of her home for fifty years. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Joseph Terry, William Howard, Erenst Carl, Stewart Rabb Myers, sister Mina Mae Brown Swicegood and one grandchild; Amanda Haga.

Raeford Douglas Everhart February 11, 1941 - April 5, 2022
Mr. Raeford Douglas Everhart, age 81, of Lexington, NC died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Forsyth Regional Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2022, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel conducted by the Rev. Billy Pearson. Burial will follow at Holloways Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 2:30 until 4:00 PM Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Everhart was born February 11, 1941, in Davidson County to William Franklin Everhart and Edith Elizabeth Penniger Everhart. He had been employed as a Telecommunicator with the Lexington Police Department. He was an avid Amateur Radio Operator for 65 years and a member of the Healing Springs Mountain VHF Society. He had been an ARRL Regional Section Manager for North Carolina and a life member of QCWA. Mr. Everhart was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. He was married to Rilda Hughes Everhart, who died in October 2021. He was an avid University of North Carolina sports fan.

Elner Lucille Noah June 10, 1941 - April 05, 2022
“Lucy” Noah, 80 of Beckford Drive, went home to be with her LORD and savior Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with family by her side.



A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 8, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel conducted by Pastor Rodney Smith. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service.



Lucy was born June 10, 1941, in Davidson County to Percy Watson Hulin and Josie Briles Hulin.



She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Burchell “Buck” Noah, son Michael Wesley Noah, brothers; Billy, Jesse James, Clayton, Tommy, Terry Hulin, sisters; Hazel Hoover, Edna Pennington and Virgie Hulin.



Lucy is survived by two grandchildren, Wesley Tate Noah (Aleisha), Korrie Noah Martin, two great grandchildren, Everly Martin and Fischer Martin.



Her claim to fame is her 37 years of service at Lexington Barbeque. There were very few places in Lexington where she could go and not be recognized and appreciated for her lifelong friendships made not only at the “Honeymonk” but throughout the whole community. She loved her grandbabies and great grandbabies, her life revolved around spoiling her whole family.

Brandon Lee Hepler June 04, 1989 - April 02, 2022
Brandon Lee Hepler 32 of Winston Salem passed away Saturday April 2, 2022. A service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 pm Saturday April 9, 2022 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel with family seeing friends prior to the service from 2-3 pm.

James Wesley Comer, 82, of Sumter, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Sumter Health and Rehab Center.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, April 6th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Comer was born January 5, 1940, in Davidson County to Frank Comer and Idaree Comer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Rose Jones Comer; and one sister, Joann Owens.

Surviving is sister in-law, Flora Brown (Roger) of Greensboro.

Lamar Dan Langley, 56, of Raven circle in Lexington, passed away Sunday April 3, 2022 at Lexington Health Care.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday April 10, 2022 at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Doug McGee officiating services.



Lamar was born April 5, 1965 in Davidson County to Roland Lewis Langley Sr. and Brenda Gayle

Earnhardt Langley. He was very musically inclined, loved to play his guitar and sing and also play golf.



Surviving is his wife, Lisa Davis Langley of the home; his mother, of Lexington; one brother, RL Langley (Tina) of Lexington; his son, Roy Skates of Tennessee; two step daughters Sara Dean (Mac Shumate) of Lexington and Helen Kay Richardson (Ronnie) of Jacksonville Florida and many grandchildren.

Don Parker March 14, 1950 - April 03, 2022
Donald “Don” Ingram Parker passed away peacefully at Hinkle House, Hospice of Davidson County early on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was 72 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Diana (née Solesbee), and sons Neal Parker and Tess Fadri, Graham and Megan Parker, and Byron Parker.



Don was born to Irene Ketchie Parker (later Clark) and Ned Parker on March 14, 1950 in Salisbury, North Carolina. A graduate of the North Carolina State University College of Engineering, Don was a builder and problem-solver by trade, training, and instinct. A licensed Professional Engineer, Don retired as Principal Design Engineer at Fluor in Charlotte, NC. Don was also a veteran of the US Navy, and served as a sailor on board the ballistic missile submarine USS James Madison (SSBN-627) during the Vietnam War.



Don’s passion for discovery and his love for family and friends led him on numerous adventures over the years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing on the Outer Banks, camping, hiking, scuba diving, and taking long and winding road trips across the country. His family will remember his love of history, his enjoyment of writing, his inherent curiosity and wonder for the world around him, and especially his screwball sense of humor.
