Robert Louis Elliott December 12, 1935 - November 19, 2021

Robert Louis Elliott (85) of Lexington, NC died peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021. He was born December 12, 1935 in Mt. Airy and delivered by his grandfather, Dr. John L. Woltz, a country doctor who delivered all of his own children and grandchildren. While attending High Point College, Bob met the love of his life, Carolyn Davis. They were married June 13, 1958. He was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church where he served in leadership positions, sang in the choir and was a faithful singer/founding member in Christ Ambassadors men’s chorus. He retired in Lexington, a member of First UMC and participated in Open Hands Ministries. Bob had a tremendous faith in Jesus, sense of humor and love for family. He enjoyed fishing, beach trips and amateur radio (AB4AQ). He never met a stranger.

Phillip Lee Daley June 28, 1976 - November 18, 2021

Phillip Lee Daley, 45, passed away Thursday November 18, 2021 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday November 22, 2021 at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with Rev. Doug McGee officiating services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday.

Daniel Clay Leonard, 29, of Lexington passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. A funeral service will be held at Friendship United Methodist Church 3 pm Monday, November 22 with Pastor David Peeler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm at the church

Edward Lee Davis February 2, 1942 - November 16, 2021

Mr. Edward Lee Davis passed away on Tuesday morning and is now in the more immediate presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A funeral service will be 3:00 pm Saturday November 20, 2021 at Friedberg Moravian Church conducted by Revs Jim Newsome and Dan Nelson. Burial with military rites will follow in the church graveyard. The family will see friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Vicki Lynn Matthews Hedrick, 71, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Pastor Jim Bush officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Donnie Ray Cagle, 48, of Lexington passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Donnie was born in Mt. Airy, NC on July 3, 1973 to Charles Ray Cagle and Litha Melinda Jones Cagle. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. He was preceded in death by his mother.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, November 20th, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Thomasville by the Rev. Ricky Payne. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church starting at 10:00 am.
