Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 30, 2025, at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Avery Varnadore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Roy Banks Weaver March 17, 1960 - June 25, 2025
Roy Banks Weaver, 65, of Lexington, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by his best friend and pastor, David Tessener. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Mausoleum. The family will receive friends during visitation on Sunday evening from 5:00–7:00 PM at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Paul Theodore Sharpe and Mary Frank Sharpe, who instilled values that she carried throughout her life; first husband, James D Parks; sister; Cora Mae Mock, brothers in law; Thomas Mock, and Arnold (Connie) Swicegood; sister-in-law, Veedee Talbert, her husband, Edward Talbert; and many other beloved relatives

He was a graduate of East Davidson High School and NC State University, Scott dedicated his career to horticulture, working with Rose Pros and Witherspoon Rose Culture, where he was known for his deep knowledge, gentle care, and unwavering commitment to his customers’ roses.

Harold Gene Foster, 89, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, June 23, 2025.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Forest Hill Memorial Park’s Mausoleum Chapel.

Harold was born on September 29, 1935, in Rowan County, to the late Charlie Foster and Cora Head Foster. He honorably served his country for a number of years in the National Guard and later, worked as a machine operator at Stanley Furniture from which he retired.
