Alisa Ann Bulla Greene June 25, 1961 - October 22, 2023
Alisa Ann Bulla Greene, departed her earthly home on Sunday, October 22, 2023, very peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, and was immediately welcomed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her family and many friends’ hearts are broken, but we rejoice for her great gain of Heaven.

Alisa was born in Lexington, NC on June 25, 1961, to Keith and Flora Bulla. At age 5, due to tragic circumstances at the death of her father, she was lovingly raised in the home of Jerry and Carolyn Bulla who became her parents that she loved deeply.

Alisa was a very devoted Pastor’s wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. She was a faithful member of Higher Ground Baptist Church in Tyro, NC, and a vital part of the church family and ministries of the church. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with all her heart and faithfully served him with the gifts he had given her. She was a very strong, but extremely gentle, kind, and loving person with a huge heart for others and a smile that would light up the room. She was a very gifted woman in so many ways, especially when it came to decorating and making things look beautiful. She had an eye and appreciation for beautiful things. She was always wonderful when it came to people. In so many ways she was an example for others to follow and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith Bulla, Jerry and Carolyn Bulla; her father-in-law Kelly Greene, and her sister Jennifer Brown; and grandparents, Arlene and Clarence Bulla, and Dorsa and Ernest Hartley.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Rev. Jimmy Greene; her favorite little boy, Blue Buttons; her daughters, Amanda Miles and husband Jason, and Lauren Kluttz and husband Phillp; her grandchildren whom she adored and loved so much, Addison Gage, Madelyn Kluttz, and Emma Kluttz. In addition she is survived by her mom, Flora Brown and husband Roger; sisters, Lori Owens, Jennifer Phelps and husband Ted and their daughter, Hailey Phelps, who she loved like a daughter, Gina Brown and husband William, Amy Rhoton and husband Dennis; her brother, Roger Lee Brown; mother-in-law, Sharon Greene, who was like a mother to her; sister-in-law, Wanda Lowman and husband Jeff; several nieces and nephews; and so many friends they cannot be counted and a loving Church family.

A special thanks to her church family at Higher Ground Baptist for all their love and support during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Higher Ground Baptist Church at 163 Gene Hege Rd. Lexington, NC 27295. All gifts will be then give to Ar-Ar (Ralph) and Di Ane Sarzaba, missionaries to the Philippines who Alisa loved so dearly. Alisa loved flowers, but she loves Ralph and Di Ane much more!!
