Cecelia Mae Newcomb Hill, 64, of Lexington, passed peacefully on October 15, 2023, at her home in Lexington.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Hill was born November 6, 1957, Lewes Delaware, to Norman Dove Newcomb Sr. and Alberta Polite Newcomb. Her passion was her faith, family, especially her grandchildren. Cecelia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gratton Hill, brother, Norman Newcomb Jr., stepson, Robert G. Hill, Grandson, Robert O Hill.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Eddie Hayes of Lewes DE, Norman Hayes of Chester SC, Lucas Hill and wife Amanda of Clover SC; daughter, Maurene Hanner and husband, Troy of Meridianville, grandchildren, Becky Hill, Ezra Hill, Brian Burnopp Jr., Jacob Ivan Hayes, Alexsandra Horan Hill, Edwin Hayes Jr., Abigail Hill, Joey Hayes, Lucas Hill Jr., Mary Hill, great grandchildren, Lilith, Robert, Brenda, Genesis, Raelynn Hill, Amari, also surviving are her sisters, Sandy West and husband John of Seaford DE, Joy Burton of Milton DE, Faye Wiles and husband John of Georgetown DE.
