Jacqueline Ann Perryman September 30, 1954 - October 17, 2023
Jacqueline Ann Mullies Perryman, age 69, passed away on October 17, 2023. She was born on September 30, 1954.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray C. and Helen Mullies, and her brother, Mark Mullies.

Jacque is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Perryman, who stood by her side throughout their journey of life together. They first met on a blind date on New Year’s Day 1971. Jacque and Glenn were married two years later on June 30, 1973, and recently just enjoyed celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Jacque leaves behind a legacy of love and family, including two devoted daughters, Beverly Ray Perryman Whitt, and Abby Leigh Perryman Lovelace (Ron). Her favorite title and role in life was being “Meme” to her three grandchildren, Lyndsie Rayanna Whitt, Cole Timothy Lovelace, and Ryleigh Faith Lovelace. Her love and commitment to them was obvious to all who knew her. Jacque’s grandbabies were her pride and joy and she spent many hours cheering them on from the sidelines and spoiling them rotten. In addition, Jacque is also survived by her precious fur baby and constant companion, Emme who never left her side.

Jacque spent the last several years of her professional career employed with the Winston Salem Forsyth County School system as a member of the Finance department. She was deeply committed and dedicated to her work and made a positive impact on many lives throughout her career.
A celebration of Jacque’s life will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. The family kindly requests that memorials be made in her honor to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, N.C., or to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church located at 1082 Community Rd. Lexington, N.C. Flowers may be delivered to Mt. Olivet on the day of the service.

The staff of Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is honored to be serving the Perryman family during this difficult time. Jacque’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
