William Rodney Bozeman September 20, 1954 - August 30, 2023
William Rodney Bozeman, known as Rodney, was born in Lexington, NC, on September 20th 1954.

On Wednesday, August 30th, Rodney, AKA Diddy, Daddy, and PopPaw, passed over quietly in the early hours of the morning. He is now reunited with many of his dearest loved ones including his wife, mother, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and countless cherished furbabies. Rodney is survived by his son Erik Bozeman, his daughter Emily Averill, her husband Jim, their children Juliet and Leigh, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his lifelong friend Drew, his loyal friend Shelly, and his most adored kitty cats.

Rodney served in the US Navy as a young man before beginning his nearly 40-year career with the United States Post Office. He was a skilled carpenter who helped to build several houses for his family members, including the home where he and Jane raised their children. He enjoyed woodworking, golf, bass fishing, and hunting, and he never missed a game when his Carolina Panthers were playing. Rodney was a dedicated provider for his family, an avid rock ‘n’ roll fan, and though he loved all animals he had an incredible fondness for cats.
Rodney will be remembered, missed, very much loved, and never forgotten.

The family asks for donations to Forgotten Felines of Forsyth in his memory.
