Gladys Landreth September 05, 1930 - September 29, 2021
Gladys Anna Mae Landreth went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

A graveside service will be held on October 1st at 2:00 pm by Pastor Butch Conrad at Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm on October 1st at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
Gladys was born on September 5, 1930 in Stokes County to Paul Hall and Maude Bennett Hall. She worked for many years at Kaybe Mills then went on to retire, later to become a homemaker and caretaker of her family and grandchildren. After retirement, she spent several years as a substitute and volunteer at Davis-Townsend Elementary School where she earned over 10,000 volunteer hours. She also served as a member of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Posse.

Gladys loved gardening and flowers. Her greatest joy and favorite pastimes were spent watching her grandchildren grow up. They were truly the light of her life.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim; her brothers, Thomas Hall, Ray Hall, and Glenn Hall; her sisters, Jean Brooks, Joann Cromer, Stella Byerly, and “OT” Sims.

Surviving are her daughters, Kaye Ochoa (Butch) and Angela Crites (Samuel); granddaughters, Brandi Morris and Whitney Parker (Michael); great-grandchildren, Madison and Kaden Morris; her brothers, Marvon Hall and Roger Hall; her sisters, Elsie Hooker, Kaye Harris, and Sue Spears, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in her honor to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
