| Lois Wall Walters December 29, 1934 - August 24, 2023 |
Lois Jean Wall Walters, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 88. She was born on December 29, 1934, in Surry County to the late Admer Crosier Wall and Alice Arlene Ray Wall. Her husband, James Robert Walters, predeceased her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Lois is survived by her two sons, Robert Walters (Dana) and Jeff Walters (Tina), and her two daughters, Judy Strickland (Ed) and Beth Kight (Toney). She was a devoted sister to her brother Jack Wall. Lois’s nurturing spirit extended to her seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.
In her professional life, Lois was employed as a Knitter at Hanes Narrow Fabric Company. She possessed a warm and welcoming demeanor that drew people in. Her commitment to her work was only matched by her devotion to her family and close friends.
A service will be held at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, with the date and time to be determined. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, providing an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together to pay their respects.
Lois Jean Wall Walters will be remembered for her unwavering love, her nurturing nature, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
The staff at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the Walters family during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made in Lois’s name to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church at 1082 Community Road, Lexington, North Carolina 27295.
