Clarence Raymond “Ray” Burchette, 63, of Grubb Dr., Denton, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Campus.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 14, at Mountain View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Travis Yates officiating.
Ray was born June 1, 1959, in Davidson County, to Vernon Bryan Burchette and Norma Jacquelyn “Jackie” Wylie Burchette. Ray was an auto mechanic. He was a former owner of the Denton Texaco and previously worked for Yadkin Valley Chevrolet.
He was preceded in death by his parents,

He is survived by daughters, Adrienne Moody (Spencer) of Snow Camp, Emily Burchette (Henry), and Anna Burchette; a son, Daniel Burchette all of Denton; sister, Delayne B. May of Denton; a brother, Terry Burchette (Joyce) of Denton; 2 grandchildren, Chelsie Hardister and Ashton Hardister (Cierra); and 1 great-grandchild, Oaklynn Hardister.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
