Mr. Charles Watson Surratt, age 86 of Gravel Hill Church Road, Denton, NC died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Randolph Health.
A funeral service will be held AT 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 22 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Claudie Harrison. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will see friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, November 21 at Briggs Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
Mr. Surratt Was born February 16, 1936 in Randolph County to Van Surratt and Myrtle Snider Surratt. He was a member of Chapel Hill Methodist Church and was a self-employed Plumber. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter Betsy S Hunt and a son Billy Surratt.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Shaw Surratt of the Home; grandchildren, Deann Hunt of Mebane, Blake Surratt and Molly Surratt both of Denton and Strader Surratt of California; daughter in law, Audrey Surratt of Denton; brother Baxter Surratt and wife Marsha of Denton; sister Rebecca Rich and husband James of Asheboro.
