Charles Fletcher “Sonny” Sheffield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
Sonny was born February 28, 1958 in Guilford County to Neil Sheffield and Betty McDowell Sheffield. He was of the Baptist faith and was a truck driver with Kepley and Frank. He love to ride horses his Harley and watching his grandkids fish, camping in the mountains and love to work.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday 13, 2021 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Revs. Josh Sheffield and Ivan Sheffield. Due to Covid 19 the family has ask that everyone attending the service wear a mask and social distance themselves.
Left to cherish is memory includes his son, Josh Sheffield (Gabrielle) of Lexington; his daughter, Jennifer ,Sheffield (Brooke) of Thomasville; his mother, Betty McDowell Sheffield-Jones, brother, Ivan Sheffield (Carolyn) of Tenn. sisters, Deby Siers of Sophia, Esther Dunn (Jimmy) of Asheboro; two grandchildren, Joshua and Titus Sheffield and two nephews.
