Dewey Bradley Everhart Sr March 03, 1929 - October 13, 2022
Dewey Bradley Everhart Sr., 93, of Lexington, passed away October 13, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Health Lexington Medical Center.



A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors by the Davidson County Honor Guard. The family will see friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm before the service.



Dewey was born March 3, 1929, in Davidson County, to George Ray Everhart and Lillian Leonard Everhart. Dewey was a devoted member of First Wesleyan Church where he served as Associate Pastor. He was a US Army veteran having proudly served his country. Was retired from Carolina Underwear. Was a member of Gideons International, Past Chaplin for American Legion Post 8, member of Amvets Post 13, VFW Post 3074. Dewey was a graduate of the original Davis Townsend High School. His passion was his faith, church, family and especially his granddaughter and great grandchildren. Dewey was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amber Everhart, his great granddaughter, Lainey McCarn.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 70 years, Ethel “Angie” Garrison Everhart of the home, his sons, Dewey Bradley “Butch” Everhart Jr., wife Suji and Wayne Everhart and wife Jennifer all of Lexington; granddaughter, Tanya McCarn and husband Travis, Great Grandchildren, Logan McCarn, Evan McCarn all of Lexington; his sister, Elizabeth Bibbs of Winston Salem.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons international P.O. Box 285, Lexington, NC 27293
