Ms. Frances Irene Hunt Thompson, 73, of High Point, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Thomasville Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1948 in Davidson County to the late Luther Hunt and Mattie Varner Hunt. Frances worked for Kaby Hosiery and Dollar General and attended Liberty Baptist Church. She loved going to and spending time at the beach, along with cooking, and reading a good book. Along with her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her brother, David Hun

Surviving is her daughter, Shonda Hughes and Michael Littleton of Pleasant Garden, NC; four brothers, Thomas Wayne Hunt of Whitsett, NC, Roscoe Hunt and wife, Norma of Denton, NC, Henry Hunt and Libby of Thomasville, NC, Gary Hunt and Gay Wyche of Thomasville, NC; sister-in-law, Susan Hunt of Whitsett, NC; four grandchildren, Amber Helton, Zachary Akins, Courtney Thomason, and Haliey Hughes; and three great grandchildren, Zacharee Helton, Jacoby Helton, and Brantley Helton.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Memorial Park Shelter on the Hill Thomasville, NC with Rev. Eddie Hill officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
