Donna Ena Moore March 20, 1955 - May 01, 2022
Donna Ena Sheasby Moore entered her next life on Sunday, May 1, 2022 after a long illness.

Born in Chicago Heights, IL to Donald J. Sheasby and Ester Ena Phillips on March 20, 1955, she was a former resident of Humboldt, TN and Fayetteville, NC before coming to Lexington with her partner of many years, Albert Gaylor. In Fayetteville, Donna was a veterinary technician, a job she loved and was well-suited for. She was devoted to her animals throughout the years – cats, horses, and dogs. She participated in several equine competitions and Fourth of July parades and loved dressing up her horses for the occasions. In addition to horseback riding, Donna loved to dance – line dancing, and two-step in particular. Generous to a fault, Donna loved her family. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Michael W. Moore; and her partner, Albert Gaylor.

She is survived by her mother, Ester Ena Sheasby (age 102); her sister, Andrea Weider (Frank); her brother, Donald Sheasby (MaryAnn); two nieces, Angela Carlson, and Pamela Orvis; one nephew, Eric Sheasby; six great-nieces and great-nephews; her beloved dog, Ziggy; and a host of friends and family who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with the Rev. Lomax Skinner officiating. No formal visitation will be held.

In honor of Donna’s deep love for animals, memorials may be directed to the ASPCA at 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
