Bill Eddinger April 30, 1940 - October 1, 2021
Billie “Bill” Reid Eddinger, 81, a resident of Lexington, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 in Lexington Medical Center. Bill was born on April 30, 1940 in Davidson County to the late Clarence and Velna Eddinger.
He was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Southmont. Bill had a love for fast cars and was a Corvette enthusiast. He was very talented. Bill loved singing, playing, and writing music. In his younger days he played and sang at church and recorded his own music. He was an avid Country music fan. He enjoyed riding his pontoon around the lake while listening to Hank Williams, Sr. and various other country artists of that same era. Bill loved his family very much; he will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Shoaf Eddinger.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Davidson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

Bill is survived by his son, Reid Eddinger (Diane) of Lexington; two sisters, Sybil Koonts and Gay Nell Farrell both of Lexington; grandchildren, Brandi Cooper (Devin) and Austin Eddinger, all of Lexington; and great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, and Carsyn Cooper.
