Ya know one thing for sure is we choose to be happy or unhappy. It really is a chose and choosing happy will have a lot to do with your health. Watching too much National News can for sure be depressing, so you might want to limit yourself and not watch to much of it.
This week here in Davidson County North Carolina is Fair week and if you haven't been, and if you can physically make it, it would give you a shot of happiness.
And start calling family and friends and maybe even invite them over or a cookout or ballgame. Remember this old saying: IF IT'S GONNA BE, THEN IT'S UP TO ME.
Tomorrow is Taco Tuesday and some of us go to Mi Casa's in Lexington. We love the Mexican food and wonderful staff.
Then Wednesday is what I call Sqetti day at Randy's in Welcome and you better go hungry as they have some of the best I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.
Thursday is Jimmy's Smokehouse in Welcome. They have great BBQ, but for the first time in my life a couple of months ago we got the Chili dog special. The hot dog is deep fried and I mean WOW!
Welcome Tire was sold and will have their first day open tomorrow the 16th. Lexington Tire bought the business and will be open more days.
We will be out and about tomorrow lookin for some good news and if this ole feller remembers, I will have some new good news.
