Frankie Lewis Curtis, age 54, of Farmer, NC, passed away April 14, 2023.
Frankie was born on April 21, 1968, to Charles Edward Curtis and Kay Garner Curtis (Craig). He is survived by his parents, Kay Garner Craig (Reid) and Charles Edward Curtis, his children, Tabitha Kay Curtis, and Brandon Lewis Curtis, two sisters, Charlotte Curtis Mueller (Uli) and Lisa Curtis Ingram (Jimmie), grandchildren Addilyn Mae Lewis, Wesson Reid York and Sterling East York, and nephew, Emmett Tennyson Edwards. Frankie was blessed with many close aunts, uncles, and cousins who were more like siblings to him. Frankie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Magdalene Garner, uncles Clayton and Donnell Garner, aunts Elna Garner Talbert, Patty Garner Hamby and close cousin, Terri Talbert.

Frankie enjoyed fishing, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, gardening, hunting arrowheads and antiques. From his early teens, he grew a loyal following of patrons for lawn services. As a youth, he participated at Farmer United Methodist Church's UMYF program. He played football, enjoyed weightlifting, and had the strength of some men twice his size. He graduated from Southwestern Randolph (SWR) in 1986.

Frankie was an expert arborist and his clients loved him. He also worked in plastics injection molding for over 20 years and was sought out for expertise to correct even the most inconspicuous color or design flaws in products.

Frankie was a man of faith and maintained a prayer journal for others. He was known for his wit, intellect and mostly, his kind heart. Everywhere he went, he won people over with his sincerity and warmth. His biggest love was his family; Frankie's children, grandchildren and nephew were his world.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm; Salem Fellowship Church, 4367 Salem Church Rd. Denton, NC 27239.
