James Diehl July 20, 1956 — October 24, 2025
James Frederick Diehl, 69, of Keever Drive, Denton, died Friday, October 24, 2025 at his residence. No Services are planned at this time.

Born in Davidson County on July 20, 1956, he was the son of Frederick George and Mildred Magdalyn Garner Diehl. He was a bricklayer, working for Jack and Roger Shore.
He is survived by his wife, Penny Tysinger Diehl of Lexington; daughter, Tanzy Diehl of Thomasville; 2 sons, Dusty and Shannon Diehl, both of Lexington; 2 brothers, Ricky Diehl of New Hope and David Diehl of Lexington; niece, Caprice Ard of Hamlet; 5 grandchildren, Hannah D. Sutton, Briana L. Franklin, Bobby Tre’ N. Bates, Taytan A. Sunshine Bates and Gracie Diehl; 2 great-grandchildren, Madaly Rose Sutton and Colby James Sutton.

Briggs Funeral Home of Denton is assisting the family with arrangements.
